Nestled in picturesque countryside just minutes from Cordes sur Ciel and other magnificent Bastide Towns, our 12th-century rural watchtower offers an exclusive stay in a location steeped in history.
We live here on the top 2 floors and offer the whole of the ground floor Suite of rooms, private parking and entrance, the lower gardens, courtyard and covered dining area offering unparalleled privacy.
This one-of-a-kind accommodation with outstanding reviews from our past guests; provides modern comforts in a setting that transports you back to medieval times.

The accommodation is just beautiful decorated with a lot of taste and very clean. The bedding is in harmony with the very elegant and romantic places. Surrounded by equally historic Bastide towns, ancient wine producers around Gaillac, our property offers you the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the medieval era while exploring the timeless beauty of Southern France. Each step you take within our tower, and every journey through the nearby towns, will transport you back to a time when history was written in stone.
Where are we exactly?

Some of the platforms we appear on have odd details that aren't necessarily relevant to us but stick to a format.
Here we can tell you about our location and travel tips exactly as they are!
Just over an hour away you will find Toulouse, the beautiful Pink City and its airport Blagnac, welcoming flights from all over Europe and beyond.
Seasonally Rodez airport offers a similar service and is reached by car in 1hr 20mins.
Albi - our 'County Town' is a 20 minute drive offering its amazing and historical Cathedral and the Museum de Toulouse Lautrec and its beautiful gardens.
If you love a French Brocante, there's a super one here every Saturday morning.
Set next to the river Albi has so much to offer to fill a full days visit from here, so after a hearty breakfast at the Bastide, off you go!
Gaillac just 20 minutes away too, is a much smaller town offering some of the oldest vineyards in France, cute little streets, shops and restaurants.
You will drive through Gaillac if coming from Toulouse to us.
There are numerous other Bastide towns that are truly breathtaking in their locations and history like Najac, Bruniquel and Penne all within 30 minutes drive.
Lastly but most importantly Cordes Sur Ciel. One of the oldest Bastide towns in the whole of France and just 5 minutes by car.
You can see Cordes from our property as it looms in the distance just 3kms away from Bastide de La Bogne.

Sunday Suppers or whenever you fancy
If you've had a long drive or just want to stay here for the evening to eat, we are now offering a delicious option of a two tier Plancher of Charcuterie, Pate's, Local Cheeses included a baked Camembert with wine and fresh garlic, Pickles, Fruit etc. and a crusty loaf with the choice of a carafe of local Red, White or Rose wine.
A lot of restaurants locally are closed on a Sunday and Monday evening so this fills the gap.
The plancher must be pre-ordered with a minimum of 24hrs notice please.
An alternative fish option is available or a Veggie/Vegan selection is available on request but must also be pre-ordered.
